Florence McCarthy, (Partner) BCL, LLM, AITI, TEP
Flor McCarthy is a solicitor and notary public. Flor graduated with a Bachelor of Civil Law from University College Cork in 1993 and obtained a Masters Degree in Commercial Law in University College Dublin in 1995 in the areas of corporate finance law, information technology law, intellectual property law and the law of insolvency.
Flor started out his career in practice with a leading Dublin city law firm in 1995 where he qualified as a solicitor in 1998. He joined McCarthy & Co as a partner in 2000.
Since qualifying as a solicitor Flor has obtained additional specialist qualifications in the areas of taxation and trust and estate planning. He is registered tax practitioner and has been an Associate of the Irish Institute of Taxation since 1999. He is a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner and is a member of the international Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Flor is also admitted to the roll of solicitors in England and Wales.
Flor was appointed a notary public by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Ireland on 20th July 2010.
